Can I get a 1080p output through a NVIDIA GeForce 9400M video card?

I have an yearly 2009 iMac and I want to output it's signal to a larger LCD screen through a mini-displayport to VGA adapter, and was wondering if this video card supported 1080p output and if this set up will work?|||Geforce 9400M supports 1080p output, so you should be fine.
