Does HDMI output on a computer have video and audio?

I want to purchase a laptop to hook up to my TV to watch the internet over my TV. Will an HDMI output on the computer give me voice and audio across my TV speakers? Will the laptop need a special graphics or video card to accomplish this?|||HDMI includes audio.

If the laptop has a HDMI socket then you are good to go.
